Not your grandmother's folk band...

Just Plain Folk started with a shared love of folk music by four long-time musicians in the Seattle area. Formed in 2015, the group plays with the fun and passion that only comes from seasoned musicians with a love of music.

Al Francisco

Guitar, Bass, Percussion, Brass, Vocals

Al was born in Grants Pass Oregon and has been professionally involved in music since he was 14.

Other passions include, biking, fly fishing and wood work.

David Figge

Guitar, Bass, Percussion, Vocals

David was born and raised in the Seattle area. He started playing music in his early teens and hasn't stopped since! He also enjoys photography and bicycling.

Dave Tinsley

Mandolin, Guitar, Banjo, Bass, Percussion, Vocals

Dave grew up in central Missouri playig folk and bluegrass with his brothers. His passions include choral music, tennis, and golf.

Nadine Baxter

Fiddle, Vocals

Born to classical musicians in Kansas and raised in Texas, Idaho, and Washington state, Nadine picked up the violin when she was 10 years old. An art teacher and artist by trade, she loves to dance, sing, and act in plays.
